Two friends with a plan
Chris drummer & Mindi Koehler
Chris and Mindi started out by dreaming of a place where they could own a business selling the items that they loved. Their children are all close friends; leading to plenty of committee meetings and bleacher time together to plan and explore their common interests of repurposed vintage furniture, textiles and home decor. They both had strengths to draw inspiration and knowledge from, and found that they complimented each other well. In a sweat-filled gymnasium, Tama County Market was born! The market became a reality with the first Fall Market in September 2022 and continues to grow with each season.
